If a payee is deleted from the address book, will autofill still insert the payee in a new transaction?

I'm a fellow user.
I believe it should, the auto completion is based on previous entries in the register, so if you start entering a payee that is already present then I think it will complete the field.

With the latest update I have difficulty with the address book recording new information.
I attempted to record an edited version of a check. I cannot get the address book to include the check information eg. account number, amount with the address. The old information is still in the drop down menu without the address. I deleted the address book entry but the old check info is still in the drop down menu and it will not record the new information.
