Non-Free Upgrade?
I am confused by the Moneydance Updater screen that I see when starting Moneydance. I get this message -
An update to Moneydance is available! You are currently using Moneydance 2020.1, and the latest is version Moneydance 2021 build 2006.
This upgrade is non-free but is available at a discount.
Having purchased Moneydance, I thought I was eligible for any update that became available. What does this "non-free" represent and has the policy been changed?

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Greg
The policy has not changed since I started using Moneydance back in 2015.
When you purchase a key its valid for the current version of Moneydance plus the next major release, then after that at a 50% discount.
All update builds within a version are free.
See https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/purchasing-and-upgrading/upgr...
Note 2020 was considered as an extension of 2019, not a major release.
Hope this helps
