reconciling problem
Why does money dance set t he beginning balance at zero when I reconcile--- and how do I enter the correct beginning balance in for reconciling

I'm a fellow user.
The beginning balance is something Moneydance calculates from the data in your account, it is defined as:
Initial Balance of the Account + Cleared Deposits - Cleared Payments
If it is 0 I would expect you never entered an initial balance and have not cleared any deposits or payments.
