Transaction reminders grayed out on calendar before I get to them
I am not sure I understand how transaction reminders are supposed to work. They are grayed out before I get to them. Currently it is the 22nd, all the transactions for this week are grayed out and unactionable, from the 21 to 27th. The first one I can record is the 28th. If I click on the grayed out transaction, I am offered the next month's transaction.
I discovered my reminder transactions were pointing at a parent account, not the child account, hence they were actioned but never showed up.

I'm a fellow user.
A transaction is supposed to be greyed out after it has been actioned, this may mean it has been posted or skipped for example.

Thanks, @dwg. I was undone by not setting the account which defaulted to a parent account that shouldn't have had transactions attached to it. They weren't showing up in an account that was being reviewed. Still getting my head around the way MoneyDance works.
