It does contain some functional fixes:
https://infinitekind.com/previewdl/current/changelog.txt

But I also believe that most of the recent fixes are with the GUI, especially Mac as IK are trying to get that to work so they can release a stable version.

But.... over to IK for more info....

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491205222021-04-01T20:21:00Z2021-04-01T20:21:00ZFunctional changes in new moneydance versions

I'm a fellow user.

Most major functional changes coincide with new major versions. Entries are made in the Moneydance blog indicating what has changed.

Within a release you will on occasion get some changes and for stable releases these will also usually have a blog entry, other wise most changes will be fixes or things like adapting to changes banks have made.

Changes made between each build are largely in the change log as Stuart has indicated.

The Blog can be found at:

It’s as I suspected. I will keep an eye open on the blog.

Rich Wtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491205222021-04-02T08:18:34Z2021-04-02T08:18:34ZFunctional changes in new moneydance versions

Hi Rich,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

If your operating system is Big Sur, for an optimal performance your operating system requires the latest preview version Moneydance 2021.1 (3056). This is available to download from this page.

Also, in the System Preferences. You should navigate to the General section and to Prefer tabs [always] when opening documents and change "always" to never or "in full screen".

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

That said, as we are using MoneyDance, we as users identify things that we think would improve the user experience and we add them as RFE (suggestions). My point was that I have recently not seen any suggestions from anyone appear in the product. I understand that after an OS release there are many bugs to fix, but surely smaller enhancements to the product would be possible, or at least a sign-post in our support tickets whether and when they may be planned in the future would be really motivating for us as users.

Rich Wtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491205222021-05-03T09:13:41Z2021-05-03T09:13:41ZFunctional changes in new moneydance versions

I completely agree with you Rich and although we are looking into improving this aspect. For the time being you can refer to our blog on this page, where we currently post about new versions and include details of these new releases and also, this page provides more details on specific fixes.
