I got a new Macbook Air, and I had to set up my Moneydance file as new again reason doesn't really matter at this point. Anyway, my saving account is listed first in my bank account list because the name starts with a C and my checking account starts with an S, so when entering reminders or using the mobile app the program automatically defaults to the first account in the list, and if I am not paying attention when I go back to look at my checking account I am missing transactions then it dawns on me they are in the saving account and I have to go and move them. Other than removing the saving account is there a way to make the checking account the default one? I have MD 2021 (2006) and running OS 111.3 on my laptop
Thanks

cheritrahantag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/491844372021-05-08T22:54:59Z2021-05-08T22:54:59Zsetting a default account

Hello,

The account ordering is alphabetical. The only way to change the order would be to rename the accounts. From what you describe, perhaps you could rename your checking account something like Checking - [Bank Name] and similarly rename your savings account? You could also just stick a number or an earlier letter as the first character in your checking account, although that would probably look a bit more messy.
