Hi -

I recently upgraded to a Mac Mini with Apple's M1 chipset. I saw a post from November 2020 that a version of MoneyDance to run natively was close. Is there a version I can install to run natively without the use of Rosetta available?

Thank you!

Ben

It is still not a universal app and not yet M1 optimized. I suspect it is more challenging than anticipated to get this application there with it being primarily Java based.

We are still working on this, and even have an unreleased build that might in theory work on Apple Silicon machines here:
       https://infinitekind.com/previewdl/current/Moneydance.arm.dmg <https://infinitekind.com/previewdl/current/Moneydance.arm.dmg>

It has all the necessary pieces to run ARM native code, but I wouldn't rely on it just yet, if it even launches.

    Thanks,
    Sean

Thank you for the update. It still request Rosetta when trying to launch. Anxious for the new release that is M1 compatible.

I would really love to see you guys create a SwiftUI version of Moneydance. IME so far my SwiftUI apps are a massively improved experience over prior Mac development processes.
