Moneydance backup files should have an extension of .moneydancearchive

Moneydance data folders should have an extension of .moneydance

I would be searching for these.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/493830832021-09-11T06:44:05Z2021-09-11T06:44:05ZFinding backup filies

Toolbox extension has a search for dataset and backup files button.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/493830832021-09-12T16:10:27Z2021-09-12T16:10:27ZFinding backup filies

Did you just make a complete copy of your entire hard drive? If so, I'd think your data files would be located in the same default file location as on your main computer: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/de...

The above suggestions of what to search for is also a good idea. If none of those help, can you perhaps clarify what you did to back up your desktop computer? It sounds like you copied everything, but if you only copied your main documents folder for example, that would be unlikely to include your Moneydance data files, unless you previously manually moved them there.
