loss of BEEP sound

Hello, sorry I started to write this mail then the page disappeared, probably something I did. am having a problem with my ;BEEP sound again, it stopped 23 September '21. I tried the 'Preferences' suggestion but not a BEEP to be heard. can you help? I really love and need this beep sound as it assures me transactions have been entered. Do hope you can 'work your magic'..To help you identify me I enclose my Licence Key number: B 22899443-DBBD71OB

Can you enter a txn and then do help/open console and post contents of console here?

Hi, very simply.... Go to your normal bank register. Enter a transaction (where you would;d normally hear a beep). Then go to Menu, Help, Console Window.. Then in the popup window, select all text, copy all text, paste back here...

Oh dear Stuart ....sitting in the cave enjoying a good old laugh. . I must sound like a pathetic idiot...
