Can Moneydance 2022 (4055) download Discover Card transactions?

No mention is made if this upgrade will allow Discover Card transactions to be downloaded.

    Hi kwbear,

    It will do so, but only via Moneydance+. You can read up on Moneydance+ here.

    It has been my experience that Moneydance's internal browser works with Discover Card.

    Direct-connect OFX downloads from Discover Card seem to have gone exclusively to Quicken.

    Using Version 2022 (4056):
    It does NOT download Discover Card transactions.

    Hi Paul,

    I tried the 14-day trial of Moneydance+ to see if it would d/l Discover Card and the Home Depot Card.

    Both of them worked using Moneydance+. Neither of them worked using direct-connect.

    The 14-day trial has since lapsed and since I don't use either of those cards all that often I went back to using manual downloads for them.

    Still no luck with Discover. I have deleted the account from Plaid, deleted the old Discover connect from previous version of MD that hasn't worked in quite a while. Restarted too. I can connect through YNAB's Plaid access so I think something is wrong in MD.

    I don’t see any errors in console.

    I can’t download Citi Visa transactions either.

    Both Discover and Citi Visa were problems in MD 2021 too.

    A common issue is that the old ofx (direct connection) is hanging around. This prevents md+/plaid downloading. Install toolbox extension, advanced mode. Online banking menu. Select delete ofx banking profile.

    Try md+ again.

    Moneydance+ Connection Needs Relinking

    In English, this usually means one of your Moneydance+ connections has expired and needs to be re-linked
