I have Money Dance 2017.10 (1706). Will it work with Mac OS 12 or Monterey?

Not reliably. You need latest MD2022

There's no harm in trying the 2017 version on Monterey, but you will likely have to purchase an upgrade to use the latest version. This is due to the significant changes Apple made to their operating system since 2017.
