Upgrading Moneydance version but on a PC this time

I entered the key from my Moneydance subscription to my 2014 Mac. Prior to paying for an upgrade, I am unsure whether the discounted license to be downloaded will work on my PC. I need to know the answer to this question before payment. Does your system know which version to send to me based on which type of computer is submitting credit card payment?

   The license key will work for any operating system, Mac, PC, or Linux.

   So, you can purchase the discounted upgrade, get a license key, and (in your case) download the PC version of moneydance and apply the license key.

   If your 2014 mac is still working, you could download the mac version as well and apply the same license key. The key is linked to the version of Moneydance you are using, not the platform.

   adding a comment:

   you say "which version to send to me".... you download the version/platform yourself from the site. IK/MD just sends you a license key to apply to what you download yourself. The key is tied to the year version, not the platform.
