I'm a fellow user.
If you have a consistent table of data in Excel that you want to import into Moneydance then you can try saving it as a CSV file. Moneydance can import CSV files into a credit card account without any conversion.
If you really want to convert in Excel you need to source and install an add on converter into Excel that can do this. A Google search should find some and thee are some free ones around, I do not have pointer at the moment.

Hello,
I'd also suggest that a CSV file should only be used if there are no other options available for download. They are usually the most labor-intensive option, and there's no guarantee they will work since there is no standard formatting for financial data in the CSV format. Better options include QFX, OFX, OFC, or QIF files (sometimes referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
Ethan
