Deleting memorized transactions
I have a number of payees I needed only once, and others whose names I mis-typed and corrected. Now the extraneous payees and the typos all show up as clutter when I attempt to use autofill after typing the first letter(s) for a new payment or deposit. How do I tell the system to forget or ignore the irrelevant entries?

I am not support staff just a user.
Hi allanshapiro
You cant tell Moneydance to forget things.
The best you can do is use the Extension Find and Replace to find all the transaction that contain typos in a description (payee) and replace them with the correct description. Do this for each typo variant. Once you replace all instances of a typo description it will disappear from the auto fill list.
Hope this helps.

Hi derekkent23,
Thank you. I guess this a limitation of a program architecture that doesn't
maintain a database. I downloaded the extension and will give it a shot.
