Editing a Loan to adjust a Transaction Reminder going forward
I have an identical question that Camille Meyer asked on Aug 17, 2021 and answered by Maddy, but I still couldn't navigate through the solution without concern of having the same issue that Camille had.
I have a 30yr fixed mortgage account that I set up a year ago. The account is set up to Last month the escrow amount changed on the account.
I can get in and edit the escrow amount in the loan account no problem. The question I have is what I do with the subsequent dialogue boxes: "Would you like transfer the amount of this loan into an account". If i say yes it points me to the account the loan is being paid from and that I have set up a Transaction Reminder in.
That seems correct. The dialogue box "Transfer From Loan" asks me to put in a date. I am not sure what this dates relevance is. I have 12months of already reconciled transactions in the checking account with the previous escrow amount that I don't want to change. I just want to change the transactions going forward. Please let me know what the dates relevance is to the Transaction Reminder so I don't mess up the reconciled transactions. Thanks!
