Hi J Rooke

In the Transaction Reminder window set Daily and Repeat every 28 Days.

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/507524322022-03-21T09:57:56Z2022-03-21T09:57:57ZReminders

Hi Derekkent23
I had already tried exactly this but the transaction still does not appear
in the register. I have checked that the year is correct in the reminder
and that the transaction has not appeared in 2021 or 2023 for example.
It seems to work perfectly well for a 4-weekly debit from my current
account but not with the pension payment which is of course a credit into
my current account.
Hi J Rooke

What version and build of Moneydance you are running, e.g. 2020.3(4068)
Can you post the full screen shot of the Transition Reminder window so I can see the settings.
If you are Moneydance syncing to another device is the Auto-commit Reminder (applies to current file on this computer) box ticked under FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – PREFERENCES – NETWORK?

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/507524322022-03-21T10:24:20Z2022-03-21T10:24:20ZReminders

The typical problem is that the account hasn’t been changed from the default to the one that you really wanted. Is it appearing somewhere else?

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/507524322022-03-21T12:16:59Z2022-03-21T12:16:59ZReminders

Hi Jim,

I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. To add to this useful information I thought it's worth mentioning that when creating a Transaction Reminder selecting “Auto-Commit” will enter the transaction in the appropriate account register a set number of days before the transaction is scheduled.

If the Auto-Commit box is not checked when you create your Transaction Reminder, the transaction will not be applied to your register until/unless you manually apply the reminder, as outlined here

I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions or need any assistance.

one-off transaction. I then chose the option to Create Reminder From
Transaction, completed the reminder details, and it worked, so problem
solved.
Thanks for all your help and suggestions. It is good to know that such
