Import function
Is the Text Import extension (Text File Importer - v103 - The Infinite Kind and Friends) the same as the File->Import built-in function? If not, then what is the difference?

The Text File import is an old extension, it is different to the built in importer but I think most of its functionality has been incorporated into the inbuilt importer over the years.
Amounts must all be in one column with signs indicating if it is a deposit or a payment with this importer, but it does handle different encodings and various field separators.

The File/Import is a newer feature.
