Beeps after transactions have disappeared with Moneydance 2022.3 (4073). Still work with Moneydance 2022.3 (4072).

    Hi elliot.abrons

    The cash register sound effect is still available on Windows running 2022.3(4073).
    What’s your computer operating system?
    Under FILES (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – PREFERENCES – GENERAL tag is the option BEEP WHEN TRANSACTIONS CHANGED ticked?

    Hope this helps.

    MacOS 12.3.1. The beep was checked using 4073 but no sound. switched back to 4072 and the beep was there.

    @All

    If The beep sound when transaction change feature is checked in Preferences, it works as expected on Windows 10 both with Moneydance 2022.3 (4073) and Moneydance 2022.3 (4072).

    Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

    Is it possible to change the volume within the program? It's pretty loud through an audio interface and loudspeakers.

    Hello,

    No, Moneydance does not have a separate volume control, just on or off. Some systems have additional settings where you can set program volume levels outside of this, but you'd likely have to change your overall system volume.
