Wondering if it is possible to edit just the earliest scheduled reminder rather than all of them?

    I'm a fellow user.

    No you cannot.

There is no specific instances of a reminder for each date, it would be very inefficient to store reminders like that, rather there is a single instance of a reminder that uses the posting date for management.

The best you can do is during posting to change the entry this should not change the reminder itself just what is then being posted to the register at that time.

I create two reminders with the specifics for each. This is particularly handy for subscriptions that jump in the future to a new value. When I get to the date of change, I delete the old reminder.
