Old app icon
Does anyone know where I can safely get the old app icon from? I mean the .png file. The one with a wallet, coins and card. Not a fan of the new icon!
Cheers..

Thanks Jeff. Got it, but having read the info on how to replace, disable SIPS, etc etc, and on each update doing it again, I have given up the idea and will just have to live with the rather boring, IMHO, icon we have got.

I believe you are on a MAC?
It's dead easy to do. Right click app icon, go to Get Info. Unlock the pad lock at the bottom right of Get info screen. Drag the replacement icon over the present icon at the top of the Get Info screen. That's it!
But yes you will need to do this when you update, But literally it takes seconds to do!

Is this what you want?

Just to clarify my instructions above.
You need to work with the moneydance.app in your Applications folder (not the one in your dock)
When you drag the icon I sent earlier as you move it over the original icon you will see a green Plus sign pop up. Drop the replacement icon when you get this.
This will also work with the png file DWG sent, but his is a very low resolution image!

It looks like you have changed the name of the app, or you are working with an alias file, also somehow you have already swapped the icon, as what you show is non standard.
Find attached my version, note the padlock, bottom right, complete with new OLD icon at the top

Hi Jeff
I am not working with an alias or have changed the app name. I may have been using Forklift instead of Finder to take the screen grab! I also had show ALL file extensions switched off. This is what I get using finder on the app folder icon - before and after. The ICO icon appears when I drag your file onto the icon at the top left of the ‘Get Info’ box!
Any thoughts?
Cheers

All I can say is that it works for me!
I am using Monterey 12.4 at the moment, but it did work when I was using Big Sur. You must wait till you get the green + box before you drop it, other than that I don't have any further suggestions.
Find attached a grab of part of my Dock showing the 2 icons side by side. Personally, I think the new one is better!!!
