I need to set up a reminder for the fourth Tuesday of every *other* month. Is there a way to do that? Sometimes that would be every eight weeks, but other times it might be nine weeks.

Thanks!

I can't think of a way this can be done. Perhaps others have creative suggestions? The best I can think of is that you set up a reminder for every fourth Tuesday, don't auto-commit the transaction, and just remember to skip that reminder every other month.

Thank you for your reply, Ethan, disappointing as it may be. I was able to do that in Quicken, but I'll take your suggestion and hope that someday this will be possible. :)

May I suggest adding the word even or odd (or just e or o) to the title so that you know which month to skip the reminder? This way you can use the auto-commit.

    You're welcome.

I use "modifiers" to sort my reminders into groups. Since in Win10 the sort is ASCII, they are in front of the text.

    • "- " means money going out
    • "+ " means money coming in
    • "z" is for one time, annual, or general reminders like "zIRA ends in one month"
    • "Mail - " for mailed statements
    • "Download - " for PDFs on the account site
