Folder name in Drop Box
I like to keep my file names for Mondeydance in a logical order, ie filenameV1, V2 etc.
I recently had to restore a back up and having done so I renamed the file to keep in line with my above practice. Before doing so I disconnected from Drop Box sync and went into Drop Box and deleted the old files under the moneydance heading. I then started to sync again and expected the forlder in Drop Box to show the same version as my file name, however this was not the case. I have not had this problem before when adoption the same procedures.
Can anyone help please.

The folder name that syncing creates on Dropbox is an internal alphanumeric name that Moneydance creates and associates with that data set, it is effectively the internal name of the data set which does not change, even if you change the display name, hence it has nothing to do with the display name and hence the folder name that you create on the local machine.
