Current date button in calender
Sometimes looking at transactions years back and upon entering a new transaction, one has to enter the date digit-by-digit. Why not supply a button to go back to current date?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Just press "t" and it will go back to the current date. You can also just type in any date.

Thanks Mary. It's not a logical solution, but it works! Of course, I was aware of the second suggestion, but found that a bit cumbersome.
