I accidently closed my browser. I apologize if you had answered my query.

Short version of previous is I entered my mutual funds under "assets" and my couple of stocks under "investments". They show up ok in the "overall summary".

I updated the pricing in the "history" section and the new price shows there but does not show in the "overall Summary"

How do I get the new pricing to update the overall value in the summary?

Thanks

It sounds like you have manually updated the prices, if this is the case you also need to update the Current price, that is a separate field.

If you routinely update prices manually I would suggest installing and using the Security Price Entry Extension, it is much easier.

There are two extensions that will automatically update security prices these are the Quote Loader Extension or the Quotes and Exchange Rate Extension.

Great, Thanks for the info. I will get the extensions you mentioned.

    Cheers

You should only install one of the extensions.

I only loaded the Security Price Entry extension and it appears to have
done the trick. I didn't do the auto update ones because I couldn't find
the institutions that hold my mutual funds or stocks so I'll do it
manually. Not that many so it's easy

    Cheers

I own both direct shares and funds. As I know that my particular funds are not available through the quote sources, I use the entry extension for them and then one of the automated quote tools for the shares.
