Can't sync between desktop & laptop
I had to replace the hdd in my desktop & installed a ssd reloaded with WIN10.
WIN10 was the previous OS.
I downloaded MD & installed but can't get a sync to work.
My desktop shows sync options as 'don't sync' - 'dropbox connection' - 'shared folder'.
My laptop shows - 'don't sync' - 'dropbox folder' - 'dropbcx connection' - 'shared folder'.
Both MD are using version 2022.6 (4097).
What happened to the 'dropbox folder' on my latest install.?
That connection is what I have been using for years & now it is missing.
How can I get is back?
Desktop is WIN10 with current update.
Laptop is WIN11 with current update.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Steve

The Dropbox folder option has the prerequisites of the Dropbox client being installed and the Dropbox folder being in the default location, if Moneydance does not see this it does not display the option.

So how do I get the sync to work between my laptop & desktop? Where do I go to set it up?
Thanks again,
Steve

A number of questions.
Have you installed the dropbox client on the rebuilt PC?
Have you checked in the dropbox folder on the PC to verify that Dropbox is syncing the Moneydance files to your PC?
If yes, is the dropbox folder in the default location - under your home folder or is it elsewhere?
If it is in the default location then I expect that you would see the dropbox folder option in Moneydance, if is not in the default location you would have to use the Shared Folder option and when prompted tell Moneydance where the dropbox files are.
Once you have validated you have the files and given you appear to want to connect to your existing files, you can use the method outlined in the following article for connecting secondary machines:
