Duplicates not able to match
I have entered an item "Personal savings" for $200 via a reminder. I do the transfer at my bank. The next day, I download the data from my bank. All imports ok but this item will not merge even though Moneydance has imported it into the register. That means I have two items for a $200 debit for the same thing. There is/was no option to 'merge' them on the import. Is there a way I can select the two and get them to merge together? This is an issue that has been going on for some time and I still don't see how I can manually select two entries (downloaded/ & imported, manual, or a combination of) and merge them into a single transaction. What am I missing here? Is the software unable to select any two entries and combine them?

MD version?
I do this all the time and it should work fine.
Can you send secret shots of the two txns and then right click each and grab the show transactions (raw) details and post those too?

It's version 2022.6. Pretty sure that's up to date.
I don't have a screenshot as I deleted the incorrect line items yesterday in order to get my balance corrected (checking account).
What is the process to combining two duplicates? If I highlight them, it doesn't give me an option to do that. Right-clicking on a single transaction brings up a menu that allows for a 'duplicate transaction', but that is to make another transaction just like the one highlighted.

Merging transactions is only a part of the confirmation process, so it requires downloaded/imported transactions to work with.
