Syncing not working since 2023 upgrade
Across Windows Desktop PC - main install.
Chromebook using linux version (via dropbox)
Android using the beta developer version (via dropbox)
All stopped syncing between each other since upgrade.
Tried to disconnect / reconnect Chromebook and Phone. Makes no difference.
Is anyone else having issues?
I also cant do the Force / Push sync data on the Toolbox extension to cleanup the dropbox files as it no longer works for 2023.
Is there another way to force this to happen?

You can use
Command ⌘ instead of
Control ^ on Mac

Spoke too soon.
After Force / Push Sync Data, and removing all clients and re-adding them. Syning no longer appears to be working for me.
Can anyone confirm this is working for them ?

Yes, just upgraded to Moneydance 2023 (5005).
Dropbox Syncing appears to be broken.

It has been acknowledge there is a bug in syncing with Dropbox, we have been told there will be a fix.

.. to clarify, the problem is with Dropbox connection (not Dropbox folders)

I have the same problem. Jut updated to Moneydance 2023 and dropbox syncing is not working. Does anyone have an idea when this will be fixed?

I tried to reinstall previous version and syncing no long works with the old version either.
Hope a fix is coming soon

I have the same issue. I deleted App and tried to connect with Dropbox though this isn't working either. Hopefully they will resolve the issue soon.

I am not support staff, just a user.
It’s a bug with Dropbox Connection, but Dropbox Folder should still work.

Reverting to the previous version of Moneydance does seem to fix the syncing issue. However, it does not resync the transactions that should have been synced while running Moneydance 2023. I had to go in and "touch" them by updating to memo field even after I reverted. Any new transactions synced fine. Hope this gets fixed soon. It's not usable for me until it's resolved.

Shipping an upgrade without Dropbox Syncing working is irresponsible and should have been dealt with before releasing and taking payment. Someone better be working on this 24/7. This is going to create a major headache for my business.

A new preview release as been posted, the change logs states:
Moneydance 2023.1 build 5006 (Sat, 01 Apr 2023 02:00:00 +0000)
* Fixes Dropbox Connection syncing bug in Moneydance 2023 (Dropbox Folder and other methods were fine)
* Fixes bug with Check Printing names appearing as question marks

It did work for my iPhone. Try turning off sync on your iPhone then choose Dropbox again as your sync option and choose the most recent file.
