Just curious. I upgraded today, but I was surprised that Moneydance is still using Rosetta on my M1 Pro Macbook. In my mind I was thinking the next release would be ready for Apple's ARM based CPU's. Wondering if this is still on the radar.

Just following up after several months. Is a native apple silicon Moneydance in the works? Yes, it seems to be running fine on Rosetta, but launch time is very laggy and has been since I got my M1 Pro Mac in 2021.

Yes Apple silicon support is still targeted for the next point release.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Just got the update. Launches so fast now. Thanks for the hard work on 2023.2 (5059)

Same here! Installed the 2023.2 (5059) update today and I am very, very happy to finally see it running on my Apple silicon MacBook. Thank you so much for making that finally happen.

#1 bullet in the release notes: The macOS version of Moneydance is now a universal binary and runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs

I (and possibly many others) would like to hear about the development team's effort to migrate the code to a universal binary. Please post the story here or, better yet, dedicate a whole Infinite Kind Blog entry to the story where more people will see it.
