2023 has been out for a while now. When will we see it on the Mac App Store?

You really are better off buying and downloading directly from the IK site. Not the AppStore. Less restrictions and better upgrade and extensions options.

That's not at all what I asked and a really uninformed answer even beyond it's inability to comprehend the question.
Hopefully someone else can chime in with when we might expect to see 2023 on the Mac App Store?

Only the developer is certain to know if or when Moneydance 2023 will be submitted to Apple or indeed if it has been submitted and rejected.

Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your query, Chris!
Unfortunately, we don't have a specific ETA for the release of Moneydance 2023 on the Mac App Store. Oftentimes this depend on factors that are out of our control.
That being said, you could always download our free trial version and experiment with the program prior to deciding whether to buy it directly or wait for the Mac App Store release.
Generally, you can download the trial version of Moneydance from our website on this page.
The trial version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test downloading data from your bank, and importing data from other personal finance software.
If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all data you have entered during the trial period.
Finally, you can find the Moneydance Knowledge Base here which will be useful if you're using the program for the first time.
