If I recall correctly it is the indicator on the destination side of a transaction that its source is one element of a split transaction.

Hi David,
As it's been mentioned in the previous posts on this thread, if you have a transaction with more than one split, then this ∈ symbol will be shown on the 'other side' of the split transaction. The symbol is assigned to each 'non-parent' portion of a split transaction.
