changing cheque number sequence

Hi
I have changed cheque books with totally different numbers but cannot get MD2010 to continue sequently with new range of numbers it keeps using original sequence. Anybody help?

    The current next check number algorithm looks at the last 10 check numbers (in the last N days) and picks the highest one and then increments it by 1. As such if you keep using your new sequence for a while Moneydance will follow the sequence. But you have to do it manually for at least 10 checks.
