The software is only telling you that an upgrade is available.
If you do not want the software to check for upgrades you can go into the preferences and turn upgrade notifications off.

Hi Donald,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Generally, when you choose to opt out the paid upgrade, you can also disable the notification. To achieve this:
1) Click Ignore Version in the pop up window
2) From the Moneydance Preferences, in the General tab select ->Check for Updates, in the dropdown menu, select Don't Check for Updates, click 'OK' and restart Moneydance. The prompt to upgrade will no longer be displayed.
