Setting Default Category for Account

When I go into EDIT ACCOUNT I a place to define the default
category that gets assigned to a transaction. Is there a way to set
it to NONE? I don't really have a default category in my regular
checking account, so would like to set it to NONE. That way I can
accept the transaction as is and then go back and see what
transactions need re categorizing at a later time.

You can't create a transaction with no category, because the funds have to go somewhere or come from somewhere. But you can easily create a new category called NONE or Uncategorized, make that the default for the account, and then go back and re-categorized the transactions later.
