Hi All,

Have imported the Quicken Essentials file into Money Dance & I believed there was no issue in the imported transactions.

Actually there was a issue (The default currency at the time of importing the transaction was USD in Money Dance & the default currency in Quicken was MYR). When I create a budget for next month in Money Dance - the system cannot accept the Budget Value Per Category in MYR but only in USD.

When I go to Categories and want to change the currency of those categories from USD to MYR - Money Dance does not allow me to change it. It is a really hard to delete the transactions and redo everything again.

An idea how to change the currency in the expense category after having transactions for them?

Thanks

    Hello,

Are your accounts also in USD instead of MYR? If so, I'm afraid that there is no way to change the currency of an account after there are transactions in it. This is why we write in our instructions on importing from Quicken (http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/importing-from-quicken-or-ms-money/...) that one has to make sure that the currencies are correct before importing data. There is no way to change this after the fact, and I'm afraid that you will have to start over.
