Limited capability of Moneydance app

I sync Moneydance from my PC to 3 other devices. But the app that runs on smartphone, iPad or Chromebook has very limited capabilities. Virtually none of the facilities and features available when using the desktop PC are available on the app on the other devices.
I have encountered this problem several times, cursed a bit and returned to the PC to achieve whatever I was trying to do.
I am prompted to register this question with you now, because I have just failed to view a saved report on my chromebook… which is most inconvenient.
Is there any chance of any of the features that the app lacks becoming available at any time?

    I'm a fellow user.

There is a project in progress to expand the capability on mobile devices i.e. those running IOS and Android.

Through the Moneydance 2023 and 2024 releases the core Moneydance software is progressively being rewritten in a language that is support on these Operating Systems, much of the testing that has been done so far is to ensure there is no regression as the various modules of the software have been ported. This rewrite should facilitate a far more capable application on these devices and closer to a full version of Moneydance on devices like tablets. How far it will go on smartphones is still an unknown.

There is no timeline on this work there is still much to be done.

There has been no specific discussion about Chromebooks. We know a Proof of Concept was done some time ago to prove that the Moneydance Linux version would install on the Linux subsystem under ChromeOS but no specific testing is carried out in this environment.

Thank you - that is reassuring.
