Holding account that is not included total etc
I need a holding account that is not included in the reports, totals etc. It is primarily used to account for funds while clearing. This account is outside of the normal reporting requirements. It is held at another bank.

You can look at doing things like explicitly excluding the account from reports.
Another approach is to mark the account as inactive so it always shows a zero balance unless you open the register.

If the account is marked as inactive, can i still transfer funds in &
out?

Inactive just marks it out of the picture, it can still be used.
