One more time into account navigation. I have put 01/01/2017 into the search bar, MD has displayed the 6 or so entries on 1/1/17. I would like to, additionally, see the entries just prior to 1/1/17. Can that be done, without scrolling all the way back (why put in a start date?) from account end date? Thanks, Kim

It sounds like you are more after a go to type function in the register rather than a search function that displays just the entries that satisfy the criteria

I think the closest you can get to that at the moment is to use the Advanced Find function and use custom dates and set a date range.

    Hi Kim,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Generally, you can refer to this article of the Knowledge Base outlining the various register filtering and sort options. Although you may not find exactly what you are asking for in this case, you might find an alternative solution.

Additionally, when viewing the account register, you could simply click in the 'Date' column header. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. Alternatively, you should 'right click' (or press Ctrl and click) on any transaction to view the context menu then choose Choose Sort By >your preferred option.
Close and restart Moneydance to retain the change.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.
