cut n paste

how do i move a transaction from one account to another without deleting and adding the info into the new account

i do c a cut n paste function or even a copy function to make this easy

    Right click on transaction, select batch change, select new account, confirm.

    I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. To add to this useful information I thought it's worth mentioning that the "Batch Change" feature allows you to make changes to a single transaction, or multiple transactions at once.
    You can change: Description, Date, Check#, Memo, Tags, Category, and Account fields in the register.

    For further details about this function, please refer to this article in the Knowledge Base.

    When using the Batch Change option, the accounts list will show only accounts containing the same currency as the account you want to move transactions from.
