Batch edit transaction description `

I've made a mistake in several hundred transaction descriptions. I would like to correct the error. Is there a way to batch edit descriptions?

Actually, I need to find a text string in the description and delete it. Thanks.

I would suggest you install the Find and Replace extension and look to use that to bulk change descriptions.

I received an email from tech support that suggested I install the find and replace extension.
