How do you remove the amount in the rate and foreign amt columns
How come an amount shows up in my tranxactions
I do not want that figure showing up in transaction. Question is How do I get rid of it

   Are you asking how to make a transaction with only an (local) amount and nothing in the foreign amount? Or how to eliminate all amounts?

   To get rid of foreign amount create a transaction and in the category field only select an account or category that’s defined as the same currency as the transaction’s account’s currency.

   Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

   To add to this useful information I thought it's worth mentioning that, generally the "Rate" and "Foreign Amount" fields are populated when you create Cross-Currency Transactions as described in this article of the Knowledge Base.

   If you wish to "hide" the Rate and Foreign Amount fields, you could switch to Single Line Mode as described here.
