How do I start a new transaction. The "new transaction" botton does not seem to work. Is there a demo on how Moneydance works?

    Have you looked at the User Guide:

    http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides/moneydance-2015-user-guide

    I assume you have created an account and are in the account register when trying to add a transaction.

    Yes I have looked at the user guide.

    I am trying to use your Demo before buying MD.

    1. Click on “new transaction”

    2. At the bottom of the screen I can change the date

    3. I can change the next box to Dep. Which I assume is deposit.

    4. I cannot change or add to any other box.

    Why do you not have a video demo to show how to use MD?

    Hi Alan,

    Can you send me the output of your console log? This can be found by going to Help -> Console window in Moneydance, then clicking the "Copy to clipboard" button and pasting the output to us here.

    Can you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing when being unable to enter anything into the transaction? Here's how to take a screenshot:

    If you click in the description field it does not allow you to then type text in?

    I want to confirm what DWG asked. with either the mouse or by using the tab button you cannot enter enter type in any of the transaction fields?
