Any and every category can be included in an Income and Expense report if you set the report parameters appropriately. So if a category is not appearing the report parameters are what to look at.

I would suggest you post a screen shot of some of the transactions in the register as well as the report parameter screen.

I have attached a screenshot, I have managed to include the dividend however they appear as expenses for some reason.

That would suggest the category has been set up incorrectly.

Dividend Income should have a category. Every transaction has to have an entry in the category field that is either a category or an account for a transfer.

There is an exception for some in investment transactions that have provision for both a category and a transfer account.

The Div action type you use the category field for a category and the funds remain in the investment account or you use a DivXfr and the category goes into the category field and the transfer account goes into the transfer field.

As stated, all divs have a category.

    Please send screenshot of:

    • one of the dividends that’s appearing

    • one that’s not appearing.

    • tools / accounts / edit screen of the dividend income you say is appearing as expense.

Confirm whether it’s a div or a divxfr.

As a test, try ticking include transfers in the report.
