On your home page you list FREE for Linux.....
Does this mean that Money Dance is free without the 100 transaction limit for Linux ?

No, just that the trial download is free.

    Hi Niren,

Cbtengr is correct, while the trial download is free there is a 100 manually entered transaction limit. To "unlock" the limit you'll need to purchase a license key. We just updated our website yesterday with the new "Free Download" button prominently displayed to highlight our free trial, but clearly we need to add a bit more information in to that piece of our interface. Thanks for your interest in Moneydance, and please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

    Niren,
I don't work for them, I'm a happy MD user. Give it a try, I switched from Quicken several years ago and currently use MD on Linux & Mac, using Dropbox to keep them in sync. Until I dumped Windows, it was on all three. Works great.

Thank you. I have tried MD with a few transactions imported using OFX. Its seems to work well. I am more than happy to pay for the license. Thank you both for your comments. I have been looking for a home accounting system on linux for years. I knew GNU version were around but I did not know about MD until recently. Thank you again.

Hi Niren, I have been using Moneydance on Linux for about 3 years now ( I migrated over from Microsoft Office ). Moneydance is a very good product for Linux.

Thanks for the praise guys! We're really proud of being a cross-platform program, and many of our support staff are Linux users themselves. Thanks for using Moneydance,
