What does Cover mean in the action menu? I am looking for a way to show a stock split, as when Glaxo split off Haleon.

Cover transactions are used in Options trading.

To enter a stock split go to the investment accounts Security Details page, ensure the correct security is selected then click on the Stock Split button, in the resultant window you can enter the split.

Spinning off a company is not a stock split.

How to handle a spin off to form a new company is really dependent on how the transaction was structured, there are quite a few ways it can be done.

    Ok, thanks for the clarification.
