Using a scanner to input data from paper receipts

Is there a recommended way to use a scanner (e.g. Neat or Vupoint) to read paper receipts and input that data into the Moneydance check register.

    Hi Dave,

    I'd suggest scanning the documents to an image or a PDF file, then you can drag and drop it onto the transaction to attach it to the transaction, provided that you're using Moneydance 2014 or newer.
