institution supports this. The institutions that are known to
support this and that moneydance has the connection information for
are listed at:

Institutions generally though only provide a limited amount of
data that can be downloaded this way often 60-90 days worth. To get
further history they may make downloads available in formats like
QIF or OFX which you would have to download and import. It depends
when you want to start using Moneydance from.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/393343482016-03-06T04:44:46Z2016-03-06T04:44:48ZHow to get started?

Thank you. You're telling me that I CAN do it, but what is

Look at the online banking section.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/393343482016-03-06T13:48:38Z2016-03-06T13:48:39ZHow to get started?

Thank you. You've told me that this CAN be done, but not HOW. i
want to be able to open Moneydance and have the latest updates from
all my accounts be provided automatically. Is that possible? If so,
HOW do I do that? Compared to other programs, it is very
unintuitive. Thanks again.

Charles Hanleytag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/393343482016-03-06T20:36:57Z2016-03-06T20:36:57ZHow to get started?

Did you have a look at the area pointed to in the post?

Can you give me the name(s) of the financial institution(s)
you're trying to connect to? To set up online banking you'll need
to click to select the account that you would like to link, and
then click the Online menu -> Set Up Online
Banking. You can read about this process on page 7 of the
Moneydance user guide here.

Hope this helps, and feel free to contact me with any questions
about this process!
