How can I restore my account to previous date having made an error

Hi Nick,
Can you confirm for me what version of Moneydance you are currently running? You can view this by navigating within Moneydance to Moneydance --> About Moneydance.
Can you also let me know if you have any third party backup solutions in place and what they are? I may be able to provide detailed instructions for your to retrieve your data.
Are you able to locate any backup files on your system? If you can, please let me know the name and format of these files and I can provide instructions for getting this back into the software.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.
My version of Moneydance is 2014.5 (980). I sync to my Dropbox. I have no other backups.
