Add a currency to Exchange rates displayed on summary page
Previous discussion :
Can I choose which currencies to show in the Exchange Rates box on the Summary page.
It defaults to British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Euro and Japanese Yen.
I want to Delete all expect British Pound and add Australian Dollar, USD and New Zealand Dollar but I can't figure out how to do this.
Go to Tools -> Currencies from the Moneydance menu bar. Double click on the currency you want to edit. In the window that appears for this currency, click on the "Edit..." button towards the upper right of the window. In the next window that appears, at the bottom you will see a check box for "Show on summary page." You can then repeat this process of checking or unchecking this box for each of the securities you want to be displayed or not on your summary page.
Claude-- This works, but how about adding let's say, Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) and Colombian Pesos (COP)? They are not in the list. I have tried filling out the boxes with symbol, name and prefix, the currencies now show up in the list, but do not appear in the summary.
How can I keep currencies up-to-date with this tool? Today Sept 20 2016, Money Dance says 1 Canadian dollar equals 0.997705, but the real rate is rather 0,758879. Is there a way to import automatically the rates for the currencies I have chosen?
Thanks

Hi Claude,
You can add new currencies by going to Tools --> Currencies in Moneydance, then clicking the "Add" button and entering the currency details in there.
To get the exchange rate into Moneydance, I'd recommend adding the Quotes and Rates extension, if you haven't done so already, by going to Extensions -> Manage extensions and installing it there, then going to Extensions --> Quotes and Exchange rates and clicking the "Update Now" button on the bottom left to get the exchange rate.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
