This will set up the accounts, but not import any transactions.
Then you can set the correct currencies for each account in
Moneydance. Run the import again to import the transactions and all
the currencies will be correct.</p>
<p>You still may run into issues with duplicate transactions when
transferring money between accounts with different currencies. This
is because the QIF file doesn't store any currency information (or
exchange rate) information to allow Moneydance to easily match them
up.</p>
<p>I don't know that it is maintained any more, but here is a wiki
page that might help.</p>

<p>G, you are correct. It is necessary to import the account
information first and then change the currency for the accounts
before you import the transactions. It is not possible to change
the currency once there are transactions in an account.</p>
<p>I want to add that when you are importing the data select the
options "New Account" and "From Another Program"</p>
<p>If you need any additional assistance please let me know.</p>
<p>Sincerely</p>

currencies are changed in the accounts. Thanks.</p>

transaction register and then click Account->"Edit Account..."
you can change the currency type. However this can only be done
before there are any transactions in an account.</p>
