dot-moneydance on a network (NFS) share
I've read through the information on syncing between PCs/mobile devices using the MD Sync feature. My question is a bit different. 90% of my /home directory is sym links to my corresponding /home on a NAS NFS share (all of my PCs/laptops/servers are Linux-based). Is there any issue with the .moneydance file being in my home directory on a NFS share (i.e., data corruption)? If I'm on my desktop, MD won't be running on my laptop and vice versa. I have no need to sync with mobile devices. This is probably a very unique use case, but wondering if anyone else has had any issues in a similar setup.

Moneydance has not been written with network devices in mind, it performs a lot of read/write requests and has been designed with a view of using local storage. The only exceptions being the syncing data and backups.

Thanks for the quick reply, dwg. I have a couple of other apps that perform best local, so I'll keep MD local as well.
Was just hoping to mount my /home from the NAS instead of individual symlink folders. I still may try and watch for performance issues (I do nightly backups).
